Going through rivers, rough roads and rocks via the 4x4 was exciting. The trek going up the crater was 2 hours long. The crater itself was disappointing because the water was brown (due to rain pouring a few days before) instead of turquoise.

hmm.. everytime i see pictures about mt pinatubo, i remember the time when we were distributing relief goods during the time of the eruption. we went there a few days right after the eruption and it was not a pretty sight.. lucky of you to visit and share this pics. i think i should schedule my visit to the crater soon.
